If you don’t put strong boundaries around what you are and you are not available for, there will be a lot of people who will try to pursue their own agenda with you. There will be people who will try to control you, manipulate you, tell you what you can or cannot do. Unless you stand up and say no, these are not the rules I am playing by, and here are my rules to life so we can find something that works for both of us or it doesn’t. Until then you will not have a safe place inside of your relationship, marriage, friendship or work environment in order for you to facilitate your self love journey.
