Perfectly Preserved is an original song inspired by “Putt Putt,” an episode of Love Letters to Forgotten Things.

It begins with a simple memory: one summer night playing miniature golf with my family. Nothing extraordinary happened. No great revelation. Just windmills, colored golf balls, cheap obstacles, laughter, and the people I loved all gathered together in one ordinary place.

But memory has a strange way of changing the value of ordinary things.

Years later, that little night still exists in my mind almost untouched. I can return to it. I can see the course, remember the people who were there, and briefly step back into a time when everyone was still alive, still together, and still happy.
