On October 24th, Del Shea Perry joined us on Life After the Impact to discuss her fight for justice for her son Hardel Sherrell. Del Shea Perry is an Evangelist, Mother, Grandmother of 3 beautiful little angels, Inventor, Founder of “Be Their Voices” a non-profit organization, public speaker, published author, freedom fighter, and change agent. Hardel Sherrell, Del Shea’s only child, was murdered in 2018 as a 27 year old while in custody in Beltrami County Jail in Bemidji, Minnesota, where he wasn’t given even basic care. He was abused and medically neglected until his death 9 days later. After his death, Del Shea knew she had to do something to bring about change so that no other parent had to suffer as she did through her son’s horrific and senseless death.
