In this first movie review, I revisit the 1994 film that launched the franchise and first drew me in through my love of Ancient Egypt, long before SG-1 became such a big part of my life. Stargate (1994) did introduce us to the characters we’d come to love after all: Colonel O’Neil and Daniel Jackson.

This episode blends nerdy fun facts, movie-making magic, personal tangents, and a closer look at the characters, the story, and the parts that land differently now.
