Eric ‘‘Gawuzela’’ Simelane is an MP in the Eswatini parliament who is currently living in exile, he fears being arrested or murdered should he set foot in his home country.

Simelane is currently involved in a series of peaceful protests to help bring democracy to Eswatini, the last absolute monarchy in Africa.
