In this theologically rich and deeply pastoral episode, we explore the sure and certain comfort God gives concerning the salvation of infants — including those who die before birth through miscarriage or stillbirth. Drawing from Scripture and the writings of Martin Luther, we show how God always saves through His Word, how faith is always His gift, and why the so-called “age of accountability” undermines justification by faith alone.

We look at the biblical truth that infants can and do believe, even from the womb, and how the inability to articulate faith does not mean faith is absent. We also address the tender question of the unbaptized miscarried or stillborn child, showing how God’s mercy and His powerful Word reach even into the womb.
