What do you do when you get good news; good news of a newborn? good news of a job promotion? or good news of a recent relationship update? We share it so that the good news spreads and our joy is multiplied. If the gospel of Luke( part 1) highlights the good news of Jesus and His kingdom for everyone, the book of Acts ( part 2) highlights how this good news for everyone began to spread to everyone by the power of the Holy Spirit. Over the next several weeks, we will journey in the book of Acts seeing how the good news of Jesus and His kingdom began to spread from Jerusalem to the uttermost parts of the world. Our prayer is that as we spend time in God's word together, we likewise would be empowered by the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses and share the good news of Jesus to everyone and in every sphere of influence.
