Episode 8- The Moment
Kelly and Gigi bring on one of their teammates for this mini-episode about those times in sports when you have to ask yourself, "Oh my God, did that really just happen?!" Brianna Pinto, a senior on the Fordham Softball team, had one of those moments a few months ago and shares her experience hitting a walk-off home run in extra innings to win the game for the Rams.
Episode 7- The Motivator
Kelly and Gigi are back and better than ever. This episode they sit down with a Fordham Strength and Conditioning Coach to talk coaching, motivation, persistence, and a whole lot of 50 Cent. A fan favorite, Gio Grassi, drops some serious knowledge that you definitely don't want to miss.
Episode 6- The Aftermath
2nd Lt. Chelsea Skrepenak joins the hosts (her former teammates) to discuss post-grad "depression" and what it's been like to transition from Conference Champion D1 student-athlete to grad school law 'NARP' (non-athletic-regular-person). We also get into NCAA, sexism in sports, viral tweets, and of course- a debate on which lunch meat should reign supreme.
Episode 5- The Injury
Gigi and Kelly discuss one of the most common obstacles in a student-athlete's life- dealing with an injury. Fordham Men's Basketball member and social media king, Chuba Ohams, joins the show to talk about his recent injury experience, rehab, and finding ways to stay positive. You'll also hear about Lunchables, Bronx rap music, and which of his teammates Chuba thinks is the best at 2k. This one's a short and sweet one so give it a listen and let us know what you think!
Episode 4- The Couple
Gigi and Kelly are back with a very special Valentine's Day edition of their podcast, and who better to have on the show than an actual couple? To celebrate this day of love, the girls meet with Cat Polisano and Tim DeMorat, two college sweethearts and student-athletes at Fordham to talk about dating as a college athlete.
