Good morning. Kentucky. I'm Michael Nally. That overnight rain finally packed its bags. Two-thirds of an inch statewide, leaving us with gray skies and 49 degrees this morning. A cold front just swept through, shoving the last showers southeast. Here's what happens next. Clouds crack apart this afternoon as drier air filters in. Highs hit the mid-60s statewide — 63 in Lexington and Louisville, climbing to 67 in the eastern mountains. South Central Kentucky might catch one last drizzle around 7 A.M., but it clears fast. Winds stay gentle, shifting northwest to west. Tonight brings clearing skies and cooler air. Lows drop to the low-to-mid 40s across most areas. The coolest valleys could dip to the upper 30s under calm winds. Monday looks beautiful. Sunshine returns with highs jumping to the low 70s. That's the warm-up you've been waiting for. By  ...
