Based on the 2018 novel of the same name, 'Where the Crawdads Sing' is the story of Kya; an outsider living within the marshes in North Carolina, who finds herself being blamed for the death of a former love interest. The mystery thriller wasn’t as ‘thrillery’ as maybe most would have liked, but I found the story overall surrounding Kya really investing. Excellent performances from Daisy Edgar-Jones and David Straitham, as well as some lovely cinematography at times. Full spoiler free thoughts in this ep
