The trite and tired trends that dominate v.867-5309 Earth's annual progression from one 365.24 collection of days to the next group of identical spacetime occurrences... well it's not the usual pit of despair that ensnares me.

The pits of despair I tend to fall into are way more of my own doing. Or just the dumbest possible move in play at any given time.
