The emergence of the term “policy architect” in the CIS26 program marks a pivotal moment in Caribbean governance discourse. Although the term did not previously exist in the region’s policy vocabulary, it originated in two intergovernmental briefs authored in January 2026 and formally shared with CARICOM, the OECS, and the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU). This episode discusses the importance of intellectual lineage to the development of governance and the entire region as a whole.
