n John chapter 5, Jesus meets a man who had been sick for thirty-eight years, waiting by the Pool of Bethesda for healing. The man believed healing was in the water, but healing was standing right in front of him.

With one command, Jesus restored what had been broken for decades. Yet instead of rejoicing, the religious leaders were offended—because the miracle happened on the Sabbath. They honored the prophets and studied the Scriptures, but failed to believe in Jesus, the One those Scriptures pointed to.

This devotional reminds us that healing is not found in systems, traditions, or waiting for the right moment. Healing is found in a Person.
