To summarize, the Mountain West was 15 minutes away from safety, but Utah State’s departure for the PAC 12 leaves the future of the whole conference in jeopardy. We’ll break down all of yesterday’s craziness, why those decisions were made, where the Mountain West went wrong, and how they can survive. Oh yeah, football is still played weekly! San Jose State fell just short of an upset, losing 54-52 in double OT to Washington State, but they still did more than enough to show that the Spartans are legit!
