"The Rushlight Diamond Caper" classic old-time radio detective drama, July 4, 1948

In this episode, private investigator Sam Spade (voiced by Howard Duff) is hired by Mrs. May Rushlight to dress up in elegant formal wear and guard the priceless Rushlight Diamond necklace along with other wedding presents at an upscale estate. However, chaos erupts when a chase breaks out across the grounds. Sam investigates only to find that the groom has been stabbed to death under a hedge with a pair of garden shears.
