Only a handful of disciples recognized Jesus as Lord and a few others. None of them really understood His First Coming, not one understood the crucifixion at the time, yet John, and the Marys stayed close. The 5 Virgins had their oil for their lamps. 5 did not and it was too late. How can we be like John and Mary and the 5 Virgins? Prophecy is unfolding before our eyes, but only those watching and seeking will have the oil of understanding, I believe.
