Released #onthisday 32 years ago, the iconic 1990 teen comedy House Party directed and produced by brothers Reginald Hudlin and Warrington Hudlin was a surprise hit that highlighted the talents of rappers Kid 'N Play, music producers Full Force, comedians Martin Lawrence, Robin Harris & John Witherspoon and actors Tisha Campbell and AJ Johnson. It showed Black teen life filled with fun, hijinks and good times, spawning several sequels and the upcoming reboot on HBOMax this July.
