Good afternoon. Georgia. I'm Aaron Jolly. That thick blanket of fog you drove through this morning? We picked up a tenth of an inch of rain overnight. And now it's hanging around like a houseguest who won't leave. Visibility's down to a quarter mile in spots, especially around Atlanta and the northern counties. Good news — a light westerly breeze should sweep it out by late morning. Once that fog lifts, you're in for a treat. We're running 42 degrees above normal today. Metro Atlanta hits 79 degrees this afternoon under partly sunny skies. Down near Savannah, mostly sunny with a high near 82. Eastern Georgia takes the crown — 84 degrees once that patchy fog clears by mid-morning. Tonight stays mild. Lows drop to the low 60s statewide. But here's where things get interesting.
