No Condemnation

Romans 8:1-2 Main Idea: Condemnation fell upon Christ, so it wouldn't have to fall on you. Main Question: What does it actually mean for us to have no condemnation? *Jesus' sacrifice not only eliminated the presence of existing condemnation but also the possibility of future condemnation. Once God frees you from the penalty of sin, He immediately begins freeing you from the power of sin.

Who Will Deliver Me?

Main Idea: The more we see our sin. The more we see our need for a Savior. Main Question: How do we fight against indwelling sin? A right diagnosis is only helpful if it leads you to the right treatment. A lifelong battle with sin requires a lifelong dependence on the Savior. God reveals our sin, not to turn us away from him, but to lead us to the Deliverer.

From Burden to Blessing- Romans 7:1-12

The Law reveals the depths of our sinfulness to show us our need for God. The Law shows us that we have committed countless death-deserving sins. The Law was good, we were sinful, and Jesus bridges the gap.

Reigning with Christ in Life

Romans 6:1-14 Main Idea: God's grace doesn't just forgive you from sin's penalty; it frees you from sin's reign. Main Question: How do we live in the freedom we have in Christ? Don't let your old master convince you that he still owns you. Don't live like you're dead if Christ has made you alive. Don't hand your life back to the master Christ defeated.

Ruin and Restoration

Romans 5:12-21 Main Idea: Jesus came to restore what Adam ruined. Main Question: What went wrong, and how can it be made right? The bad news: What Adam chose, we all have chosen. The good news: Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves. The great news: God's grace is greater than all our sin.

Is the Seed Still in the Barn

Haggai 2:10-23 Main Question: How does our heart impact the harvest? The health of our hearts impacts the health of the harvest. The focus of our hearts impacts the quantity of the harvest. A consecrated heart releases the seed and unlocks the harvest. Nothing Else Luke 18:18-27

Luke 18:18-27 Who will be saved? What is actually important? Time spent with family, not what you get. Misunderstanding of Salvation Jesus only listed second half of commandments First half of commandments refer to relationship with God Second half of commandments refers to relationship with others. The ruler missed the point, he thought he was "good" What we do means nothing for our salvation. No matter how "good" or "bad" we are Our Salvation is based on the only "GOOD" person to ever walk this Earth. Jesus offered Salvation and the ruler chose Earthly wealth. It is not easy to solely focus on Jesus. If we are not entirely willing to give all for our discipleship, it is because of our priorities. He was sorrowful because of his wealth, which he is not willing to give up. We must be dependent on our Lord like a child is dependent on their parents Salvation is impossible with us. But through Jesus everything is possible. We contribute nothing to our salvation. It's Jesus and nothing else. Have we fallen into the misunderstanding that this person did?

Disciples Put God First

Haggi 1 Main Idea: God's people put God first. Main Question: What keeps us from putting God First in our lives? Delayed obedience is disobedience. We will never put God first as long as we believe something else can satisfy us more than Him.

Disciples Advance the Gospel

Main Idea: Every Christian is either helping or hindering the advance of the gospel. Main Question: Am I helping or hindering the advance of the gospel? You help advance the gospel by leveraging your entire life for the gospel. You hinder the gospel when you care more about advancing yourself than you do about advancing the gospel.
