The bigger the situation, the more you need players like Williamstown's Chris Montone, who always seems to find a way to get it done under pressure on the mound or at the plate. He outdueled Zach Crotchfelt, one of the best players in the state, in last year's state tournament, and stroked a key double to help Williamstown win in that game. It's his mound skills - and ability to rise to the occasion - that caught the eye of Rider University, and earlier this month Montone signed his letter of intent to play for the 2021 MAAC champions. We sit down with Chris for this edition of JBS Generation Next Signing week and we're excited to see him continue to develop.
