Get Your Head Right
Send us a text We explore Ezekiel 3:10–11 to show why appointment comes with assignment and why inward conviction must precede outward message. Your Position of Authority
Send a text Are you being held captive by your own thoughts? Well, this episode dives into the establishment of God's authority and empowers believers to possess the "gates of their enemies" (Genesis 22:17). We explore what this means in practical terms, particularly in taking authority over opposing forces, including our own thoughts and perceptions, as highlighted in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 Support the show
Kingdom Mindset Changes Everything
Send a text Reign On: Exploring the Everlasting Kingdom of JesusHey everyone, and welcome back to For Life and Legacy! Today we're diving into a topic that's pretty epic: the everlasting kingdom of Jesus Christ. Buckle up, because the Bible throws down some seriously powerful imagery about what that means for us.First, let's crack open Isaiah 9:6. This verse is like a royal announcement: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." This prophecy describes Jesus not just as a savior, but as a king – a king with a government that will last forever! Then, in Daniel 2:35, we get this incredible picture: "The stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth." This stone, crushing all earthly empires, represents the everlasting kingdom of God established by Jesus. Talk about a power move! Now, some folks might wonder if this kingdom is just pie in the sky. But hold on, 2 Samuel 7:12-13 gives us a promise from God himself: "And when your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever." This promise, made to King David, extends to Jesus, his descendant. His kingdom is guaranteed by God, and it will have no end.So, what does this mean for us? As followers of Christ, we become citizens of this everlasting kingdom. It's not a kingdom ruled by force, but by love, justice, and peace. It's a hope that transcends the temporary troubles of this world. This is just a taste of the amazing things the Bible tells us about Jesus' everlasting kingdom. We'll definitely have to explore this more in future episodes. But for now, let this sink in: Jesus is the King, and his reign is forever! If you have questions or reflections on this topic, fire away in the comments below. Finding Faith Fighting Fear
Send a text In the symphony of personal transformation, finding faith becomes the resounding melody that drowns out the cacophony of fear. The discovery of your purpose is often a journey fraught with challenges that test the limits of our courage. Yet, it is precisely in those moments of uncertainty, when fear attempts to tighten its grip, that we unearth the transformative power of faith. Finding faith is not merely about blind belief; it is a deliberate choice to trust in the unseen, to believe in our own resilience, and to acknowledge God's higher purpose is guiding our steps. It is an uncommon embrace of the unknown, where the very act of fighting fear becomes an affirmation of our strength. In the dance between faith and fear, we discover that faith is the antidote, a luminous force that propels us beyond the confines of doubt and allows us to step into the transformative arena of our true potential. Courage to do God's Will
Send a text In the tapestry of life, courage emerges as the passionate thread that connects us to the purpose and promise of GOD. Embracing the will of God requires a mind to do what must be done even if we must do it with a stroke of cunning and strategy. Courage steps in to help you transcend the boundaries of fear and doubt. It beckons us to step into the unknown with faith as our guide and trust as our compass. To align our will with that which GOD has ordained is to embark on a journey of courage, for it demands the fortitude to confront our own limitations and surrender to our higher call. True courage is found not only in grand gestures but also in the quiet moments of surrender, where we relinquish control and allow the will of God to shape our path. It is through this courageous alignment that we discover the boundless strength and grace that accompany a life lived in harmony with HIS divine plan. Support the show
