Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. That rain hammering your roof overnight? Nearly half an inch across parts of the state. and it left a parting gift. Dense fog. If you're driving inland routes before 9 A.M., slow way down. Visibility could vanish on you. In the next 24 hours. So what's going on? A dying cold front is draped across central Florida like a wet towel nobody wants to pick up. Tropical moisture is pooled south of it. We're talking moisture levels near the 95th percentile for late February. That's basically summer juice in a winter atmosphere. The front's crawling south. and drier air is chasing it from the northwest. but until that swap happens, central Florida sits right in the crosshairs. Up in North Florida, you're getting off easy. Cloudy skies, highs in the mid to upper 60s. Not bad at all. Central Florida catches the action. Scat ...
