Central Florida is the hot spot, literally, pushing 88 degrees this afternoon. That's cookout weather in February. Step outside and you'll feel it instantly. Down in South Florida, you're sitting pretty at 80 degrees. Light southeast winds at 3 to 8 miles an hour. Perfect for the beach. But slather on that sunscreen. This February sun will fool you and burn you before you know it. Slide over to Tampa Bay and you've got 84 degrees with a gentle southwest breeze around 8 miles an hour.
