We can choose the leader of our lives. We can choose to follow our own hearts, dreams and desires. There’s a cost. If we choose to be like everyone else and make society/culture our king, there is a cost. God is going to allow us to make our choice while lovingly warning us that there is a cost. Every time we choose something over him to direct our lives, we do so at our own peril. Are we going to reject God or get ready for a King? Are we going swear our allegiance to self and every worldly idea? Or are we going to surrender our lives to God? We need to make a decision and live with that decision. We need to know that the time is drawing short to make that decision. Because… the King is Coming.
