"THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT," begins by establishing Spirit as the fundamental, undifferentiated origin of all things, a "universal substance" that exists at every moment and underlies the divisions between specific forms. This essential Unity acts as the "supporter of all the several forms of Individuality". The text emphasizes that this all-producing Spiritual substance cannot be limited to any portion of space and must be "limitless as space itself", making the idea of its absence from any space "inconceivable". This primordial Spirit is understood as universal and infinite.
