Descent Into Mirefen - Part 2
After an altercation with one of Nelgux's creations, Scylla-Mae and Milroy arrive in Mirefen. Sha Kalthes tries to negotiate with Oltex, priestess of the Drhnu, for the Bloodstone but the effort is futile. After being shown their quarters by Nelgux, rage begins to overtake Milroy. What history do these two have? Once alone, Sha Kalthes states that the Drhnu must be stopped at all costs and the Bloodstone retrieved. Scylla says she will do all she can to assist. Milroy Agrees provided that Nelgux's fate is left in his hands...
Descent Into Mirefen - Part 1
Jennifer and Austin begin a new adventure...with new characters!!! This is the first episode of the campaign Descent Into Mirefen by Managerie Press. Devout Merfolk Scylla-Mae Mossrock arrives in Karah am-Saar on the way to visit her Cousin (named Fiancée) and her Fiancée (Named Cousin) when she overhears a loud drunk talking about a a caravan heading to Mirefen. She inquires further and, along with a Tortle named Milroy Horatio Favreaux, finds herself employed as an escort. It seems their employer (and perhaps Milroy) may be after something other than a friendly visit... "Water rusts your blade and it'll rust your insides. Hew Dankwood and Tall Robert sail Tragedy towards Broomswallow after receiving a letter from Hedrig Krain in Hawkstone. Livestock and Townsfolk are being killed, and the culprit has made it's home in the abandoned Mines. After heading below, the party find that this may not be a simple cleanup job... Wrecker's Alley 3 - The Secrets of Whalebone Hollow
Horace Saltblood says he has one more job for Hew and Tall Robert: retrieve his ancestor's ring from from a cave on Mudfort Island known as Whalebone Hollow. If they are successful, he promises a parting gift. While the map is not exact, it gives a general location where Saltblood's Locker may be. Wreckers Alley 2 - Tragedy Strikes
Hew and Tall Robert awake after an exhausting night of looting a derelict ship and dealing with a very angry Kraken. After breakfast, they find a salty old Dwarf downstairs with a proposition: A group of particularly ambitious wreckers known as Finola's Widows are working their way up the coast and creating havoc in their wake. Normally the old captain would let this slide, but they have an object that would be very dear to him in their sights. The next thing they know, Hew and TR are in the midst of a high stakes naval battle that could leave them swimming for their lives! "I did do that, didn't I? Wrecker's Alley Part 1 - Nightmare on The Nuthatch
Hew Dankwood and Tall Robert are transporting a wagon up the Bay of Spirits toward the town of Hawkstone. However, a strong Nor'easter changes their plans and they wind up at the Kettle and Kraken Inn, the only establishment in sight. After speaking with brothers Karl and Jarl, they find that the high winds have brought in a derelict ship close to the shoreline. The loot on board should be ripe for the taking, or so it seems... Haunted by nightmares in the weeks since his visit to Broomswallow, Tall Robert summons Ethelda. The Duo decides to go back to Broomswallow to take care of unfinished business. However, when they arrive things are not as they left them. Elemental beasts known as Belkers are feeding on the smog that looms over the town and are attacking the townsfolk. Ready to eliminate the cause of the Town's problems, the pair prepare for a showdown with Baron Feston Rundle. The Choking Hand
Two monks, an old Elf named Ethelda and a Halfling called Tall Robert, have been summoned to the smog-choked town of Broomswallow. Carts of minerals from the mines are going missing and the duo needs to get to the bottom of who or what is causing it or else the town may draw the wrath of Baron Feston Rundle. As the group begins to learn the brief history of Broomswallow, they discover there are bigger problems than a few carts of missing gems.
