Welcome back! In this episode, we discuss the ageold saying - "is it better to be feared or loved?" We adapt the ancient theories of how to rule a kingdom to modern days to offer insight into how we are controlled today. We discuss various controversial topics (like shadow governments), but primarily COVID-19 and how it pulled the veil on Political intentions. aaaand so much more. We go further to talk about music copyrights, the range of sound we can hear - which further develops into a DNE-style trail off about the importance of hearing relative to other senses. Helloooo and welcome to another DNE episode In this episode, we talk about short-form content! its origins, where we think it will go, and the various ways it is impacting our lives from the way we consume traditional media to how it influences our attention span. Definitely a topic that everyone can relate to, We talk about how we manage our use and also contemplate the impact our generation of media will have on our future lives by examining how people's past behavior on social media has impacted people's lives already.

#027 - Red light to food waste

Daniel and Eamon are back after a long break. We discuss traffic lights and the alternatives to traffic control in different countries (through our personal anecdotes). In claaassic DNE fashion, we trail off to share our funny stories of food poisoning in China and Japan. This extends into a conversation about food... Why does red meat go off before white meat? and dwelled on how much food is wasted by people blindly following the use-by date. we hope you enjoy :)))

#026 - Drugs; Good or Bad? Why use them?

Welcome baacck! Eamon has returned for a conversation about drugs, everything from anabolic steroids to antidepressants with a main focus on illicit drugs. We discuss how alcohol is made and theorize why illicit drugs may not be legalized. We also talk about people's desire to use drugs as a path to altered states of consciousness along with why this may be the case and soooo much more... In classic DNE fashion, we trail off into a conversation about gossip and its impact on the social environment as well as bullying and its impacts.
