A US Judge ruled against a filing by Workaday to dismiss a class action alleging they used AI in their software to screen out job applicants with protected characteristics such as disability amongst others. What does this say about the future of job searching, could this process be already in practise by employers and could it become widespread in the future? Do we need human rights legislation against the misuse of A.I. technology within certain practises, employment, housing applications, health waiting lists?
