Good afternoon. Delaware. I'm Michael Mosby.
Step outside right now and you're feeling 56 degrees. Not bad for early March. But hold onto that thought. Because we're about to crank the heat.
Today brings wall-to-wall sunshine. Northern Delaware hits 69 degrees around 4 P.M. Central areas reach 67. Down south along the coast? You're sitting at 55. That ocean water is still cold, keeping the beaches cooler. Winds stay gentle from the south, 5 to 10 miles an hour.
Tonight, patchy fog rolls in after dark. Lows drop to the mid-40s. That fog could stick around into early Tuesday morning, especially near the water.
Tuesday turns up the dial even more. Northern Delaware reaches 73 degrees. Central areas hit 70. The coast holds at 55, but that's still pleasant for March. Mostly sunny with light winds.
