That quarter-inch of rain yesterday left the ground soggy. And now the air is so saturated you can practically taste the moisture. Fog is settling in for an extended stay. A Dense Fog Advisory kicks in at 6 P.M. Tonight for coastal Delaware and the beaches. Visibility could drop below a mile. If you're driving tonight near the shore, take it slow and use those low beams.
In the next 24 hours. Here's how the next 36 hours play out across the state. Northern Delaware sits at 42 degrees right now. Fog develops after 8 P.M., then rain moves in around midnight. Expect a soggy Thursday morning commute with rain peaking around 6 A.M. Highs tomorrow reach 53 degrees.
