Following the story of the shepherds in Luke 2, love is revealed as God coming near—love coming down in the person of Jesus. Having encountered that love, the shepherds couldn’t keep it to themselves; they went and told what they had seen and heard. Love received becomes love shared, lived out through telling our story and letting our lives reflect the good news of Christ.
