In January of 2003 Elyssa was starting at a new school and was really excited about it. Her dad and brother were waiting for her at the bus stop near their home after school to hear about her first day. The bus came and went but Elyssa never got off. Police classify her as a runaway and her case goes cold quickly. The community of Clarkston, known for its diversity, did not seem to rally to find the missing girl. Elyssa's family continues to search for her, and her case was reclassified as an endangered missing child after 20 years. The family pleads for any information on her whereabouts.
