“I just don’t have any time.”
I say this all the time, especially during the school week. But something my chemistry teacher said recently made me think about time completely differently: “Time is a commodity.”
In this episode of Claire in a Chair, I talk about how little time we actually get to choose what we do with each day, and why that makes those hours even more valuable. I’m done treating weekdays like they’re just something to get through while I wait for the weekend.
The random Tuesday night counts. The hour you unexpectedly have free counts. Even choosing to sit on the couch and do absolutely nothing counts.
Maybe the goal isn’t finding more time. Maybe it’s figuring out what we actually want to do with the time we already have.
