What makes Jesus’ revolution different from every revolution the world has ever seen? In Mark 14:43–52, Jesus is betrayed with a kiss, surrounded by swords, abandoned by His disciples, and led toward the cross. Yet what looks like weakness and defeat is actually the beginning of the greatest victory in history.

In this sermon, we explore the Kingdom of God, the upside-down values of Jesus, the contrast between earthly power and Christ’s kingdom, and how Jesus conquered not through the sword, but through obedience, surrender, sacrifice, and the cross.
