Childhood immunizations are important to help kids grow up healthy. Nonetheless, the COVID-19 pandemic caused childhood immunization rates to go down, opening the door to the possiblity that some diseases, including measels, mumps and polio, which were considered eradicated, will re-appear in the general population.
