Today, March 25th, I left the Waterside Lodge and headed into town for breakfast — sausage rolls, or saucijzenbroodjes as the Dutch call them. My first destination was the Mahamba border crossing, where I entered Eswatini from South Africa. The process was simple: just passport stamps for leaving South Africa and entering Eswatini. I learned that Eswatini has its own currency but accepts South African Rand at equal value, which is convenient. However, South Africa does not accept Eswatini money in return, so it's good to be aware of that. The countryside in Eswatini is beautiful. In the north there's a lot of sugarcane, while the south has more cattle. Near Manzini, I spotted a sign for a place called House on Fire and decided to stop. What an amazing venue!
