Today, March 21st, turned out to be one of the most special days of my journey. I've been making a point to keep my diesel tanks topped up — my Land Cruiser holds 180 liters across two tanks, and with concerns about diesel availability, I try to refuel about 60 liters after every day of significant driving. My first stop was in Heimveld at the Country Goat Cafe. The owner came right outside when she spotted my orange Land Cruiser, and it turned out her cafe sign is the exact same shade of orange as my vehicle! She was thrilled and we took a photo together with the car and the sign. The weather wasn't great, and I wasn't sure I'd get good views on Sani Pass.
