What happened
Sable Offshore ($SOC) jumped after the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals denied an emergency request from environmental groups to pause federal approval tied to restarting Sable’s Santa Barbara County pipeline system. The pipeline has been shut since the 2015 Refugio oil spill, and Sable has been trying to restart production tied to the Santa Ynez Unit.
