IT'S KIND OF ABOUT THE TITULAR GROUP! KINDA!

With separate solo projects revolving around Harley and the Birds of Prey circling the same drain that all the panic-pitches DC threw at the wall after the failure of Justice League, both finally saw the light of day as a Frankenstein-ed mashup in Cathy Yan's 2020 film. There's a lot that's been praised, such as the styling, performances, action, and so on, but like many DC films, it's been pretty divisive upon release, for obviously dumb reasons and for purely subjective ones.
