Reading books is a good thing, so let's read a book together. This is one of my favorite books, and I'm going to read it to you with added commentary and some personal stories and stuff too.

The Name of the Wind - Chapter 1

The first full chapter of this book. We meet the inkeeper with the red hair.

The Name of the Wind - Chapters 2 and 3

Today we learn a little more of our red-haired inkeeper Kote and I reminisce about how my mom would let us talk her into reading another chapter at times.

The Name of the Wind - Chapters 4, 5, 6, and 7

There were a few short chapters in a row, so I read all of them.

We learn a bit about Kvothe's childhood and early education, as well as a feel for his character.
