There are perhaps many ways to answer the question, “What is a Christian?” You could say, “A Christian is someone who follows Jesus,” or “It’s someone who puts their faith and trust in Christ.” These definitions are of course true, and with them comes the underlining heart condition of every follower of Christ—humility. Pride has no place in the Christian life and Jesus said plainly unless you humble yourself like a child you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.
