Edom, The Brother Who Stood Aloof Or Distant

Bible Reading: Obadiah 1:10–14

Obadiah warns that ignoring a brother’s suffering is not harmless.

God sees violence, hidden bitterness, joy over someone’s troubles,

and a lack of mercy. Jesus is the faithful Brother who stepped into

our struggles, took our judgment, and rose again. Through His

Spirit, those who were once hostile or indifferent can become

caring and brave peacemakers in His church.
