Bible Reading: Ruth 4 & Romans 8:15-17

Summary: It is God's promise that He will not forsake us; He did

not forsake Ruth, and we are His adopted children out of grace

through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is personal; God’s Fatherhood is

closely related to us because He is our Lord. “We are co-Heirs

with Christ”, we read in Romans 8, and in the Catechism, we

confess that the Lord is my Father because of Christ, His Son.
