No Catastrophic Event will Signal the End

– So Be Ready!

Bible Reading: Mark 13

Summary: Every generation since the resurrection of our

Lord Jesus has been faced with failed claims that signs point

to His return on a certain date. When the disciples are told

by our Lord that the Temple will be destroyed they ask

two questions that they believe are about the same

event, “When will all these things (the destruction) happen,

and what are the signs of your coming and the end of the

age? (Matt 24:3)” Jesus separates the events of the Temple’s

destruction (70AD), saying “all these things” will be

predictable and take place within their generation, but of

“that day” (the end) no one knows ... so always be ready!
