BBR0046 - A New Dawn

It’s the morning after a major event (housemate’s Disability hearing, which they won, which will drastically improve our finances), and I’m exhausted and keyed-up at the same time. Also in a lot of pain. But the daily tasks still need to get done, and my brain still can’t manage it all on its own, so here’s another episode of me using my podcast as a way to help me get shit done and plan my day.

It was a sluggish morning today, so I encouraged myself to get started by sticking in a bluetooth earpiece, firing up the voice recorder app, and recording an episode. You get to listen to me talk myself through the first hour of my risen day, make plans, and brush my teeth (among other things). Enjoy?

BBR0042 - Terms and Conditions

Been feeling pretty bleh for the past few days. Higher pain levels, higher fatigue levels. This episode is me, feeling more miserable and unfocused than usual, making sure that I get the important things done today. Also, a change in Amazon’s Terms and Conditions was in my inbox, basically telling me that I can’t sue them or join a class action lawsuit against them, if I continue to use their services (buying necessary things at prices I can afford, without having to drive my disabled ass to fifty different stores all around the region, just to see who has anything in stock). H2G2 fans will notice that the number of this episode is familiar for some reason.

Started recording this episode while still in bed, as a way to get myself out of bed. It worked.

Been a little bit since I had a ‘starting my day’ episode (had a morning obligation that was taking priority). Just me, talking into a bluetooth earpiece, and convincing myself to plan things and do things.

Fifteen minutes of me, in the morning, building and organizing the day’s hand of Do Deck cards, so that I have a rough plan I can refer to and easily modify throughout the day.

A slightly-shorter-than-normal episode, but the same old stuff… Going through my Do Deck hand for the day and trying to take care of some stuff around the house. And eating some stir fry.
