( the artist collectively, Black Pearl), Spectrum Wave Media presented a heartfelt tribute to the late Viola "Mama" Fletcher.

This segment opens a deep condolences and apologies to her family, honoring her legacy as a survivor of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre and a lifelong advocate for justice.

As the core of this tribute, I performed a powerful, original monologue eulogy, weaving together the harrowing history of the massacre with Mama Fletcher's incredible personal journey—from a seven-year-old witness to a revered figure testifying before Congress, and her symbolic return to Ghana to reclaim her royal names, Naa Lamiley and Naa Yaoteley.
