Going back through the years, he ran his own 600+ acre certified organic farm for decades which included both beef & dairy cattle. He co-founded an organic processing and marketing company called Naturally Iowa, now known as Totally Green, Inc., and helped build the first dairy in the world to develop and use a completely compostable corn-plastic bottle for its products. This company has grown into a multi-million dollar publicly traded company.
