Birth Mother Matters in  Adoption Season 3, Ep209:  Roe v. Wade Overturned The U.S. Supreme Court on 6/24/2022 overturned its landmark decision Roe v. Wade that had previously secured the federal right to obtain an abortion.  The Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade and leaves the practice of abortion in the states' hands.  "The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives,” read the majority opinion.
