A review of Lisa Frankenstein, starring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse, written by Diablo Cody and directed by Zelda Williams. A young girl accidentally wishes a corpse back to life, but will it renew her lease on life or inspire her to find peace in death? (That should've been the actual synopsis. Would've intrigued more, I think. Someone hire me) One of my favorite Christmas movies, it came out and hit #3 in the box office for that year, beating Karate Kid, while following behind Ghostbusters and Temple of Doom. It perfectly captures the loneliness and isolation of quarantine Guys, I have seen Evil Dead Rise THREE times now in theaters, so you bet I have some T H O U G H T S especially as someone who is in love with Evil Dead 2013.
