Episode 36 is the continuation and conclusion of the Lady Maria fight. The hunters discover that Maria's three forms are connected, with blood flowing between them, while the fight becomes increasingly chaotic. The party eventually identifies the real Maria and brings her down, with Brittany delivering the final brutal blow.

But the aftermath may be even more important: Hank discovers the Milkweed Rune embedded in Maria's body and removes a strange white parasite. It then burrows into Hank's arm, becoming a Kos parasite and potentially changing his abilities.
